Can you do something?

Dear Meg and Diane,

I write to you since you are our Hackney MPs and I am sure you will be saddened as I am to hear about the murder of David Koto, one of the leaders of the LGBT movement in Uganda.
I met David during the previous international aids conference last July in Vienna and I am in real shock to hear about his death that happened after his outing in a mainstream Ugandan newspaper calling for his murder.

I would be very pleased if you could have a few words publicly to condemn this situation and also in particular oppose the deportation of Brenda Namigadde to Uganda.
Brenda is a lesbian whose refugee status is refused by the UK Home office despite the public death threat she received from the Ugandan MP who proposed death penalty for homosexuality within the Ugandan Parliament.

If Brenda is deported our country will be responsible for her death.
